We do not collect, access, monitor, or store any data processed by your OpenClaw instance. Your AI conversations, memory data, configurations, and connected messaging platform credentials remain entirely on your dedicated server and are never transmitted to us.

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, including provisioning and managing your hosting infrastructure, processing payments, and delivering customer support. We also use your information to communicate with you about your account, respond to inquiries, send service-related notices, and provide updates about our platform.

We may use aggregated, anonymized data to analyze usage trends, monitor the performance of our infrastructure, and improve the overall quality of our services. This aggregated data cannot be used to identify any individual user.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We will never use data from your OpenClaw instance for training AI models, analytics, or any purpose other than delivering the hosting service you subscribed to.

Your account and billing information is stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We use TLS 1.2 or higher for all data transmissions between your browser and our systems.

Your OpenClaw instance data is stored exclusively on your dedicated Akamai Connected Cloud server. We do not maintain copies of your instance data on any other system. You retain full administrative access to your server, including the ability to encrypt, export, or delete your data at any time.

While we implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your personal information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to promptly notifying affected users in the event of a data breach in accordance with applicable law.

We use select third-party service providers to facilitate our operations, including payment processing, email delivery, and infrastructure management. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.

Our hosting infrastructure is powered by Akamai Connected Cloud. Akamai's data processing practices are governed by their own privacy policy and data processing agreements. We encourage you to review Akamai's privacy documentation for details about how they handle infrastructure-level data.

Your OpenClaw instance may connect to third-party services you configure, such as AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter) or messaging platforms (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack). These connections are initiated and controlled entirely by you, and the data exchanged with those services is governed by their respective privacy policies.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These may include the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to or restrict certain processing activities, and request portability of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Because your OpenClaw instance data resides on a server you control, you can exercise data rights over that information directly through your server's administrative tools at any time without needing to contact us.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you close your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain data for legal, tax, or regulatory compliance purposes.

Billing records and transaction history may be retained for up to seven years in accordance with financial record-keeping obligations. Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes.

When your hosting subscription ends, your dedicated server and all data on it will be decommissioned within 14 days unless you request an extension. We do not retain backups of your instance data after decommissioning.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

For significant changes that materially affect how we handle your personal information, we will also notify you via email at the address associated with your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of our services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
